We are the oldest car & van rental business in Bedford, a suburb of Cleveland about 8 miles southeast from downtown Cleveland. We have recently moved our office less than a quarter mile from our old location where we were for over 20 years, into a brand new building at 320 Broadway, at the corner of Harrison Street, between AutoZone and Nero Lincoln-Mercury.

Mary Gordon
Owner/President

Worked in the corporate world for 20+ years.  Was often seen “visiting” in her bosses offices for being ‘too creative,’ coloring outside the box, and doing everyone else’s job. No good deed goes unpunished! Started Maverick Van Rentals to prove there is a better way of doing business. Likes fast cars, fast men and Fritos.

Jim Glueck
Manager/1st Mate

WAS the corporate world for 20 years and then got smart and split the scene. Was the founder of Bedford Auto Rentals and did a mighty fine job, if we do say so ourselves.  Try to convince him he’s semi-retired…works more hours now than ever! Jim is a jack of all trades; cleaning vehicles, doing title work, portering , playing sudoku and drinking Tab.

Extremely efficient and intuitive….a regular Radar O’Reilly. Also worked for large suited corporations for over 20+ years… “NEVER AGAIN!!” Gave up the heels. Doesn’t mind dividing time between oil changes and diaper changes. Not a mean bone in her body.

James Grimm
Service and Maintenance Technician

Meet James. He's really good at what he does...his job description is "Service and Maintenance Technician" (fancy, huh?) But little does he know he's really the "make-sure-the-catalytic-converters-are-still-there-in-the-morning" guy.

He's on the ball with whatever needs to be done, be it routine maintenance on vehicles or installing a new conference room door ('cuz old one creaked). Need we mention he's polite and helpful, too?

Matt Dorcik
Master Automobile Technician

This is Matt, our Master Automobile Technician. Matt's been servicing vehicles for over 20 years, although he doesn't look a day over 20, which means he started when he was 3. Born with a silver wrench in his hand, he was.

He's the proprieter of Friend-Lee Automotive (but we call him ours, for good reason). Matt also has knowledge of fine wines, gourmet treats and is ASE Certified. How's that for well-rounded?
